The Creation of Heart Stitches
I have always enjoyed the feel of fabric and threads in my hands, and have always been gratified when something I created is finished. When my first baby was little, I made his clothes on an old straight stitch singer sewing machine. Later I made prom dresses for my daughters, clothes for myself, and my youngest daughter's wedding dress. When grandbabies came along, so did an embroidery machine, and I began making embroidered burp cloths personalized for the babies. When I decided to start my own small business, my grandson said, "Our hearts are stuck together forever." So his mom suggested "Heart Stitches," and it was perfect for my new venture. More about Heart Stitches later.
